I was able to clear a Steeple Floor recently but no matter what I do I cannot clear it again, why?

Ancient Steeple Trials are very different from other game modes in that only a specific set of stats applies when challenging them. As a result, any slight change in those stats can immediately result in a loss.

For reference, please pay attention to the following when challenging a Steeple:

- Your Primary Hero's Equipment, Runes and Aura are applied

- All Deputy stat boost is reduced to 10% regardless of your Research

- Only Command Center level and present Hero's Equipment affect deployment size (all research in deployment is discarded)

- All buffs gained from item use (for example, Troop Attack boost items) are ignored

- All stat boosts from Academy are ignored
