If the Guard Captain's trait is specific to a troop type does it weaken the other Troops?

Hero traits are simply added Troop stats, as a result if for example, your Guard Captain uses the Infantry trait, it simply means your Infantry will gain an extra 25% stat boost to their Attack, Defense and HP; it doesn't mean your Archers, Cavalry and Siege will become weaker.
