Heroes are special commanders who support the Lord. Heroes have battle, production, construction and research stats that improve your Castle's potential. They also provide even greater bonuses when appointed as an Aristocrat. Heroes can also accompany marches to command your troops as they gather and battle. Heroes will also command your Troops in Dimensional Battle.
You can use Hero XP Items to increase your Hero's levels. Increasing a Hero's level increases their Attack, Defense, and HP. Their unique Trait values also increase with the level increase which in turn allows them to equip higher level gear.
How do I recruit a Hero?
You can recruit a Hero for free if you have an empty Hero Slot. Additional Hero Slots become available as you increase your Citadel and VIP level.

Captured Heroes can die by committing suicide or by being executed.
A dead Hero can be brought back to life by using Common or Premium Revive.

When a Hero is captured by another Lord, a suicide item can be used to have the hero commit suicide so they can be resurrected sooner.
The drawback to committing suicide is that dead Heroes receive a penalty when they revive. Hero Suicide items can be found in special packages sold at limited times.

Heroes must be held in your Prison for a period of time before executing them.
They can be executed once enough time passes.
